Job Description:
Richland R-IV School District is seeking a dedicated and energetic High School Physical Education and Weights Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will promote physical fitness, teamwork, and a healthy lifestyle while creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students.

Responsibilities:

• Teach high school Physical Education and Weights/Strength Training courses.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with Missouri state standards.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to support individual growth.
• Promote student participation in fitness activities, sports, and lifelong wellness.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment in gymnasiums, weight rooms, and outdoor facilities.
• Collaborate with colleagues, coaches, and administration to support student success.
• Serve as a role model and mentor for students.

Qualifications:

• Missouri Teaching Certification in Physical Education (K-12 or 9-12).
• Experience in weight training, strength conditioning, or coaching preferred.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Passion for health, fitness, and student development.
