Position Title: Assistant Girls Softball Coach

Position Overview:
Richland School District is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to serve as the Assistant Girls Softball Coach. The successful candidate will support the Head Coach in all aspects of the softball program, including planning practices, mentoring student-athletes, promoting sportsmanship, and assisting during games and tournaments.

Responsibilities Include:

• Assisting with practice planning, setup, and execution

• Providing individual and group instruction to improve athletic performance

• Supporting the Head Coach in organizing game strategies and lineups

• Promoting teamwork, discipline, and respect among athletes

• Ensuring the safety and well-being of all players

• Attending all practices, games, and team meetings

• Upholding the standards of Richland School District and the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA)

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)

• Coaching experience preferred (especially in softball or related sports)

• Knowledge of game rules, techniques, and strategies

• Ability to work effectively with student-athletes, parents, and school staff

• Must meet all MSHSAA and district coaching certification requirements

• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
