Job Title: Assistant Girls Basketball Coach

Job Summary:
 Seeking a motivated and dedicated Assistant Girls Basketball Coach to join our athletic department. This position is responsible for supporting the Head Coach in all aspects of the girls basketball program, including practices, games, athlete development, and team culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and conducting practices and training sessions

• Support game strategy, preparation, and in-game coaching

• Promote good sportsmanship, academic performance, and leadership among student-athletes

• Help monitor athlete eligibility and team compliance with school and league regulations

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and growth-focused team environment

Qualifications:

• Prior coaching and/or playing experience preferred

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Ability to collaborate with coaching staff, administration, and parents

• Must meet school and district coaching requirements (e.g., background check, certifications)
