The Richland R-IV School District is seeking a Pre-K-12 Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2025-2026 academic year. A Speech Language Pathology-Assistant with a valid certification will be considered. Salary will be modified to meet applicant's experience and expertise. Brief Description of Position: The Speech-Language Pathologist evaluates and identifies students with communication disorders, develops IEPs and provides direct services for students with deficits in communication skills within the educational setting. Required Qualifications: A master's degree in the area of speech-language pathology from an accredited program in speech-language therapy, and all other certification requirements set forth by DESE.  Responsibilities: • Evaluate and identify students with communication disorders • Participate in the development of appropriate IEPs for identified students • Collaborate with staff to maximize communication development in the classroom • Implement direct instruction to target speech/language deficits • Develop scheduling for caseload and intervention services • Collect data and report progress according to district expectations • Complete assigned paperwork including IEPs and Medicaid billing.
