The Richland R-IV School District is seeking a visionary and student-focused educational leader to serve as Superintendent of Schools. Richland R-IV serves approximately 450 students across an Elementary School (PK–6) and a High School (7–12) and is proud to be MSIP Fully Accredited. The district operates with a strong financial position, including a $5 million operating budget, a total tax levy of $2.99 with no debt service, an assessed valuation of $46,208,976, and a healthy reserved fund balance of 45%. Richland R-IV operates its own transportation and food service programs and values efficient, locally controlled operations.

The Superintendent serves as the chief executive officer of the district and works closely with the Board of Education to provide instructional leadership, oversee district operations and finances, implement board policies, and foster positive relationships with staff, students, families, and the community. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, sound fiscal management, effective communication skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a rural school setting. Missouri Superintendent Certification (or eligibility) is required. Salary and benefits will be competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
