The Richland R-IV School District is seeking a dynamic and dedicated 7th–9th Grade English Language Arts Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for educating students and the ability to create engaging, lessons that foster curiosity and critical thinking. This position may include teaching courses such as 7th, 8th English and English I.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with Missouri Learning Standards

• Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment

• Use a variety of instructional strategies and assessments to meet the needs of diverse learners

• Integrate technology to enhance student learning

• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues

• Participate in professional development and school improvement initiatives

• Maintain accurate student records and grades

• Monitor and Implement Reading Success Plans

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Science Education or related field 

• Valid Missouri teaching certification in English Language Arts (5-9) or (7–12)

• Strong classroom management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong communciation and collaboration skills
